Kiwanis Funding for Children & Youth
In addition to our Kiwanis sponsored programs, we use funds raised from our annual Kiwanis Pancake Festival to support local organizations that serve children and youth.
Traditionally, the Kiwanis Club has allocated funding to several local organizations based on a Board developed budget using the net proceeds from the last Pancake Festival. Organizations selected were based on history, referrals from Club Members, and occasional requests. A separate 501c3 organization (Salisbury Kiwanis Charities, Inc.) exists to collect and administer these funds.
Beginning with our new fiscal year October 1, 2026 the Kiwanis Club of Salisbury/Salisbury Kiwanis Charities will begin using an application process to make such awards.

Organizations that are interested in receiving funding from Salisbury Kiwanis Charities over the next year can download the application form on this page to complete and submit. Applications must be received by October 30, 2026 to be considered for funding in our new fiscal year.
Applications received after October 30, 2026 may be considered if there are uncommitted funds still available. Otherwise, the next funding cycle will occur in October 2027.
Requests for funding will not be considered without a completed and submitted application form.
