Kiwanis Funding for Children & Youth
In addition to our Kiwanis sponsored youth programs, we use funds raised from our annual Kiwanis Pancake Festival to support local organizations that serve children and youth.
Traditionally, the Kiwanis Club has allocated funding to 20-25 local organizations based on a Board developed budget using the net proceeds from the last Pancake Festival. Organizations selected were based on history, referrals from Club Members, and occasional requests. A separate 501c3 organization (Salisbury Kiwanis Charities, Inc.) exists to collect and administer these funds.
Beginning with our new fiscal year October 1, 2026 the Kiwanis Club of Salisbury/Salisbury Kiwanis Charities will begin using an application process to make such awards. We anticipate awarding $35,000 in this new year.

Organizations that are interested in receiving funding from Salisbury Kiwanis Charities over the next year can download the application form on this page to complete and submit. Applications must be received by October 30, 2026 to be considered for funding in our new fiscal year.
Applications received after October 30, 2026 may be considered if there are uncommitted funds still available. Otherwise, the next funding cycle will occur in October 2027.
