Erica Taylor introduced Erin Stringer, a fellow Catawba graduate now the Philanthropy Officer at Brenner Children's Hospital, formally known as Atrium Health Levine Children’s Brenner Children’s Hospital, is affiliated with Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Brenner is the 3rd largest non-profit children’s hospital in the United States and serves patients from across the nation. They have a 5million budget to support their programs such music therapy and a rooftop playground. They fund their mission by Grants and Foundations, Individual Donors, Community Events (Cheers), and Corporate Sponsorships. Tom McElveen’s granddaughter has graduated high school and is headed to college.
Ann Eidson has a new granddaughter born Friday June 6th. She is a preemie and is currently in the NICU. Both mom and baby doing well.
Janet Haynes has just returned from a fabulous two-week trip to Alaska.
Wendy Weant is in rehearsal for Lee Theater’s “Disenchanted”. Wendy’s children all have great news with life and jobs.
Congratulations to Savanna Queen who has delivered her son born May 28th.
