OUR MEETING THIS WEEK
We will not be meeting at the Salisbury Country Club on Friday, May 3rd. Instead, we will be gathering offsite at Partners in Learning, located at 1775 S Martin Luther King Jr. Ave, at 12:00 noon. Please join us for a tour of this beautiful new facility. A box lunch will be provided.
OUR MEETING LAST WEEK
Our speaker was Romar Morris, Executive Director, and some members of his team from Next Generation Academy, gave an overview of the sports and life skills programs they offer children ages 6-14. The focus of the Academy is providing a place where kids can be inspired and be able to visualize a bigger world where they can succeed and give back. Craig Johnson and Chelsea Morris answered questions from the group. Also in attendance was Hanson Saryee. Their motto #strongertogether. Visit

Judy Foote and Richard Miller both won door prizes that Janet brought back from her recent trip to Italy. Richard Miller won the chance to draw the joker in the 50/50 drawing, but he drew the Jack of hearts. The pot is at $90 with 51 cards left.

Tom McElveen's granddaughter is playing the lead female role in the play, Peter and the Starcatcher.
Dick Franklin announced Piedmont Players are performing the play, Clue. Several of our members will be ushering.
Richard Reinholz announced the YMCA has received a grant to expand their programs for Teen Mental Health.
